FFHC Board Elected Ray B. Dawn as New Chairman



Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C., – On 21st of November, both Boards of First Financial Holding Co., (TSEC: 2892) and subsidiary First Bank elected Mr. Ray B. Dawn as Chairman of the companies, and is effective immediately.

59-year-old Ray B. Dawn holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Vanderbilt University, USA. Before joining First Financial, he was the previous Chairman of Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Dawn served as President of First Financial in 2002~2003, and was president of Taiwan Sugar Corp., Chairman of Bank of Kaohsiung Corp. and Chairman of Central Deposit Insurance Corp.
